A Little Trivia:
Valentine cards were first introduced in the United States by Miss Esther Howland, a Mount Holyoke College student. Her father brought Valentines from England every year. But Esther decided that she wanted to create her own Valentine notes. She used lace, pretty papers and other fancy articles for her Valentines. As her "business" grew she needed help and hired assistants. I'm told her business ended bringing in about a hundred thousand dollars. Pretty good, don't you think.
